No complaints other than it seems heavy for its size. Great picture, invaluable as an onset client monitor. Definitely recommend.

I would give it five stars, but it even though I LOVE this monitor, it has a few small ticks against it. PROS: Everything you read about the specs is good. Switching from full screen to 4-up takes a few seconds, not a problem. Color is good, sharpness is good... really improved my stationary video work. Cons: The cons are few, but they might make a difference to some. First off, The photo isn't true. It does not come with a screen protector as shown in the photos. The holes are there, but there is no plexiglass (or glass) shield mounted to those holes. Secondly, Buy a stand mount for the VESA holes. This means the that you need to relocate the V-mount battery plate (not much of an issue). The monitor has no ability to be tilted or positioned comfortably, so it only stands straight up. Mounting it to a stand gives you a world of options. I had used a large spring clamp to suspend the monitor by its top handle... the weight of the monitor caused the top plate (of the case) to flex, which caused the sides of the 19" rack to squeeze inward, which caused the metal facia around the monitor to bend a little and bulge outward. Bummer. So the VESA mount is crucial. Finally: You might not be able switch from full screen to four up WHILE RECORDING and viewing via HDMI. If you do, you stand a chance of stopping a camera from recording. My Panasonic DVX200 has no issue, but my Canon 5d MK III will stop recording when switching from full screen to 4-up. I guess it gets some kind of signal back via HDMI that causes it to stop recording. ALSO, the 5dMKIII does not show the full screen, the monitor slightly crops the sides of the screen. It is POSSIBLE that I have missed a setting in the monitor, but usually there is a special setting in monitors to deal with specific issues related to resolution switching when viewing during recording. This monitor does not appear to have that. ANYWAY, sounds like a lot of complaining, but I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY THIS MONITOR AGAIN. The small issues (that take a long time to describe) don't deter from the great investment this monitor presents.

question

Lilliput's website lists this monitor as having PEAKING. Can anybody confirm this? ...and more importantly can they confirm it indeed works? Thanks
Asked by: Anonymous
Lilliput's website does indeed say the Lilliput Electronics 15.6 has peaking. Lilliput is a hightly reputable company so it would behoove them to be accurate in their listing. If not, they would lose sales in a very competative market. See here: http://lilliputweb.net/bm150-4k.html

Can I use the battery plate and the vesa mount simultaneously?
Asked by: Nikhil
You can use the battery plate, but it cannot be connected directly to the monitor when it is used with a VESA mount. It would only be able to be connected through the XLR port for power.
