With the Michelin Multi-Function Portable Power Source XR1 from Wagan Tech in your car, you can jump-start your own dead battery, inflate your own tires, operate AC-powered appliances, charge your USB electronics, shine a light in the dark, and even listen to the radio while you're at it.
The XR1 delivers 300 starting amps and 1000 peak amps to get your vehicle running, and is equipped with 40", 8 AWG cables that stow neatly in spaces on the sides of the unit. Its inverter delivers 200 watts continuous/400 watts surge of AC power through two 115 VAC wall-type sockets, along with 12 VDC from a car-type socket and a 5 VDC, 2.1A USB port. The 260-PSI inflator's 24" hose comes with a set of adapter tips, so it can be used to inflate sports equipment, air mattresses, rafts, or other inflatables as well as vehicle or bike tires. The 30-lumen LED work light will come in handy for nighttime jump-starts or tire inflation, car-camping or power outages, and the XR1 features an AM/FM radio that also plays music from your device via Bluetooth or 3.5mm plug. The power supply is a 12 VDC, 12 Ah lead-acid battery that charges fully from an AC source in 15 hours, or 12 hours on DC power from a vehicle or boat with the engine running.
