The Eartec UL5D is a full-duplex wireless intercom suitable for facilitating communication among five people. It comes with one dual-ear master headset for the team leader and four dual-ear remote headsets for everyone else. All technology necessary for operating the intercom system, including batteries, has been built into the headset's ear cups. This eliminates the need for wires or belt-worn items. Five rechargeable batteries, an eight-bay multi-port charger, and a soft-side case are provided.

Does this system have the ability to communicate with any EarTech Walkies as well? I want to mix headsets and walkie talkies with my crew, is this possible with these headsets?
Unfortunately, no. The SC-1000 walkie-talkies work in a different frequency range and are not compatible.

All of the headsets are set to the same frequency, but there is a range of frequencies between 1920 – 1930 MHz available. UltraLITE systems utilize a master headset and all of the others are satellites, with the system being full duplex, for two-way communication between all users.

Can you add more Eartec headsets to the intercom system to make it a 6 or 7 unit system? Also, how long does the battery last and what is the timeframe for recharging the battery?
You can only add onto this system if you purchased the Hub when you purchased the original system.
The battery run time is 6 hours and the charge time is 3 hours.
