The ECM-90BC responded very well to EQ creating a great natural sound. It also had a very strong sound level output which helps in minimizing fader use.

What transmitters and receivers can this plug ...

What transmitters and receivers can this plug into? Are there any adapters to turn it to XLR?

It will only work with Sony transmitters that have a compatible 4-Pin (SMC9-4P) Connector. You can use the Sony DC78 battery power supply to use it with XLR inputs.
