The HDC-3100L 2/3" CMOS SMPTE Fiber Broadcast Camera from Sony provides pristine imaging at rates up to 1080p60 with 4K capture available with an optional CCU. A global shutter creates crisp image quality without the "Jello" effect found with rolling shutters. Features include an integrated ND filter wheel with servo control, a color correction filter, rich focus functions, and backwards compatibility with Sony HDC-2000 series components. This modular camera is housed in a lightweight yet strong magnesium alloy body and incorporates SMPTE-standard fiber and SDI interfaces.
Optical Fiber Transmission
The integrated SMPTE-standard LEMO fiber connector enables the HDC-3100 to be used with separately available compatible CCU units for optical fiber transmission.
CMOS Sensor with Global Shutter
The HDC-3100'S 2/3" CMOS image sensor's global shutter eliminates any "Jello" effects and banding noise found with rolling shutters, producing crisp images with low noise and high sensitivity.
Format Flexibility up to 60p
- Provides native 3G-SDI output in resolutions up to 1080p50.
- Optional 1080p60 license is available separately.

Remote-Controlled ND and CC Filters
The built-in ND filter wheel and color correction filter can be controlled via a remote-control panel (RCP), master setup unit (MSU), or directly from the camera head.
Rich Focus Functions
