Print your 3D models in a wide variety of filament types with the Kodak Portrait 3D Printer.
The enclosed print chamber can fit a build volume of up to 7.9 x 7.9 x 9.3". It helps reduce warping by allowing better temperature regulation and reducing noise, and it keeps your hands away from hot and moving parts. The enclosed space also helps reduce the fumes from 3D printing to a minimum while the built-in HEPA filter with activated carbon allows you to use the printer safely in classrooms, laboratories, and offices. The heated print bed features a BuildTak surface as well as automatic calibration and leveling.
The Portrait uses Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technology with dual extruders, one with an all-metal hotend while the other has a PTFE hotend. The extruder with the PTFE hotend is for PLA+, TPU Flex 98, and PLA filaments, while the all-metal hotend extruder is for PLA Tough, ABS, HIPS, PETG, Nylon 6, and Nylon 12 filaments. The dual extruders also feature a hotend lifting system, which enables the inactive hotend to get out of the way while the other is running. This ensures that the inactive hotend is not dragging on the current 3D print job.
Depending on your project, a 3D printing job can take hours to complete. Fortunately, the Portrait features a built-in camera for remote monitoring so you don't have to babysit the printer. Check the status via the 5" 800 x 480 color touchscreen. Print via USB, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet. You also get free access to the Kodak 3D Cloud, powered by 3DPrinterOS.
The Kodak Portrait 3D Printer comes with a limited 1-year warranty. A warranty extension up to 3 years is available for purchase from Kodak with an annual fee and needs to be activated during the active warranty period. The extended warranty includes annual service checkups.
