Chimera has assembled this Panel Lantern Pro Kit with US/North American Plug for image-makers who have specific requirements for overhead lighting. The kit includes a PL100 LED Light Engine with controller and power supply, a 24 x 24" Fabric Lantern, head cable, and a kit bag. Also included are a Skirt Kit, Panel Lantern Clamp, and a Single Axis Stand Adapter.
The Panel Lantern Powered by LiteGear 24 x 24" Lighting Kit with US/North American Plug from Chimera is a versatile soft light system with multiple uses and mounting options. At the heart of the kit is the PL100 light engine by LiteGear. This LED light array comes with a controller that allows you to adjust the color temperature from 2600 to 6000K as well as the light intensity from 0-100%. A multi-voltage power supply allows you to use the light anywhere in the world.
The PL100 mounts to the kit's 24 x 24" aluminum frame. Although you can use the system as it is at this point, there's another option. A 24 x 24" lantern softbox, made of a gridless fabric that works well with LEDs, attaches to the frame creating a light source that's suitable for fill light or overhead lighting setups that simulate the illumination you might find in a restaurant or club. A 12' head cable is included, and the entire kit fits in the provided carry bag.
The Chimera Skirt Kit for Panel Lantern contains two 27.5" skirts that roll up or down the sides of the lantern to regulate the amount of spill light required.
The Clamp for Panel Lantern from Chimera allows the Panel Lantern to be placed on a stand or a boom or dead hung.
The Chimera Single Axis Stand Adapter gives you confidence in mounting larger banks and lights. This adapter allows tilt and swivel for ultimate light placement and rotation of non-rotating lights.
