If your Lav is a Sennheiser (or other brand) that is wired for the Evolution EW series - usually with the locking mini connector, it will work perfectly with this system as well.

No this receiver can not provide phantom power, it was designed to be used with dynamic microphones that don't require phantom power or with microphones that can be battery powered.
