Benro FH100M2B Master 100mm Wide-Angle Filter Holder Kit

This Benro FH100M2B Master 100mm Wide-Angle Filter Holder Kit allows for the convenient use of up to two separately available 100mm wide, 2mm thick filters and a separately available Benro MACPL95 95mm Circular Polarizer Filter that is designed to avoid vignetting when used with a wide-angle lens. This kit includes a Benro FH100M2B Master 100mm Wide-Angle Filter Holder as well as a Benro 100 x 100mm Filter Protecting Frame and a Benro 100 x 150mm Filter Protecting Frame. These two Benro filter protecting frames are each designed to encase the edges of one 100 x 100mm, 2mm thick filter and one 100 x 150mm, 2mm thick filter, respectively, for use within the filter holder. By encasing the sides of an installed filter, these filter protecting frames each help to eliminate stray light, which could have unwanted effects on exposure, from coming in-between an installed filter, as well as the filter holder and the lens behind it. Additionally, a Benro filter protecting frame reinforces an installed filter's rigidity while preventing its sides from having to come into direct contact with a filter holder's slots. This protects those side surfaces and promotes sharp results by helping to ensure that the filter remains flat.

The Benro FH100M2B Master 100mm Wide-Angle Filter Holder includes up to two slots for a Benro filter protecting frame. Any Benro filter protecting frame within this filter holder can be switched with another Benro filter protecting frame that contains a different filter needed for other subjects or changing lighting conditions. If used with any one of the Benro FH100M2B Master 100mm Wide-Angle Filter Holder's slots, an integrated safety-catch system prevents a Benro filter protecting frame from accidentally sliding out of the filter holder.

Additionally, the Benro FH100M2B Master 100mm Wide-Angle Filter Holder utilizes an internal gear that is designed to engage with the built-in cogs along the outer edges of a Benro 100 x 150mm Filter Protecting Frame. A control knob allows that gear to be turned, precisely adjusting the position of a Benro 100 x 150mm Filter Protecting Frame, further benefiting the use of graduated neutral density or other filters that are enhanced by varied positioning. The control knob can be variously pushed or pulled, which provides the ability to toggle it among any or none of the Benro FH100M2B Master 100mm Wide-Angle Filter Holder's two filter slots.

Installation of a compatible filter within a Benro filter protecting frame is accomplished by first moving the filter protecting frame's top slide lock into the open position. The edge of the filter protecting frame under the top slide lock can then be pushed open, allowing a compatible filter to be set within the filter protecting frame. The edge of the filter protecting frame under the slide lock can then be released and the top slide lock returned to its closed position, securing the filter.

Use of the filter holder can be easily accomplished by first screwing the included Benro FH100M2LR77 77mm adapter ring or FH100M2LR82 82mm adapter ring onto a lens or step-up ring with 77mm or 82mm front filter threads, respectively. After being fitted onto the adapter ring, the Benro FH100M2B Master 100mm Wide-Angle Filter Holder's locking knob helps to provide a reliable, yet adjustable connection that allows the holder to be rotated 360°, also benefiting the use of graduated neutral density and other filters that are enhanced by varied positioning.
