Lastly, does this light require a resync with the remote after every power off?
Although the remotes for both panels do not require you to re-sync it after every time it's powered off, there have been no tests confirm whether they can use the same remote or AC adapter.

Do the batteries when installed on the light receive charging while the AC unit is plugged in as well or are the batteries charged solely when they are in the provided chargers?
I don't think I've actually tried charging the batteries while the AC unit is plugged in! We have always just used the provided chargers; that would be my guess.

Has anyone used this with a hot shoe mount? I know it's kind of bulky and heavy, but I have a Sony a7r IV with a sturdy Manfrotto tripod.
A typical flash with batteries weighs 10-19oz. (284-548g) with batteries. This light, the CamBee VL30B 30W Video LED Light (B&H# CAFLVL30B), weighs 25oz (720g) before adding the two batteries. Each of those two batteries is typically around 7-12oz (150-340g) for a whopping total of around 40-50oz (1.1-1.4kg). Using this in a camera's hot shoe would not only require an adapter but could also result in damage to the hot shoe and camera. You may find it can work in a strong and all-metal cold shoe with an adapter, but the best method would be to attach it directly to a 5/8" stud.
