Designed for electronic musicians, producers, and sound designers, Rob Papen’s Blade is a downloadable soft-synth designed around a feature Mr. Papen has dubbed the Harmolator. The Harmolator is your oscillator section foregoing classic waveforms like saw and square-waves for a more ground-up approach based around nine variable controls and several global setting options. The nine controls each impart their own characteristic on the sound and can be set to a static level with your mouse. Prominently featured in the soft-synth is an X/Y pad, which can control all the parameters in any way you see fit. Indeed, you’ll find nearly every Harmolator control listed twice—once along the vertical axis and again along the horizontal axis so you can fully manipulate how the X/Y pad interacts with your given set of parameters.

The X/Y pad can also be recorded so you can apply modulation to every note that you play. Once recorded, X/Y-pad movements can be synced to tempo, polarized in both directions, looped, sped up, and otherwise manipulated, allowing interesting possibilities in the creation and in the sound design of timbres, parts, and whole songs. You can assign X/Y pad controls to your MIDI controller.

In addition to the Harmolator section, Blade gives you a sub-oscillator, a multimode filter, a distortion module, a modulation matrix, an LFO, an envelope section and more. Blade provides a plethora of presets which you can access using a search function or by using a temporary browser that automatically lists your last ten accessed presets. You can also save your own presets.

Blade is compatible with Mac and Windows systems, and operates in AU, VST, and AAX formats.

BLUE II from Rob Papen is a virtual synthesizer plug-in that utilizes multiple forms of synthesis, including FM, Phase Distortion, Wave Shaping and Subtractive Synthesis.

The synthesizer features 6 oscillators which can be connected in various ways, a pair of analog-style modeled stereo filters, a wide range of processing and modulation options, a sequencer and a powerful arpeggiator.

The Rob Papen Go2 is a virtual synthesizer designed for ease of use by sound designers, producers, and musicians. The Go2 makes all controls visually available at the same time from a single window interface. The instrument offers a powerful, yet simple structure that allows for quick and easy creative exploration. The single oscillator features two morphable waveforms and a sub oscillator, while the Spread function creates a stacked two-oscillator sound. Additional symmetry controls allow for advanced sonic manipulation, especially when working with the XY pad section, which works as a live, interactive, and programmable modulation source with tempo sync and time quantization.

The analog-modeled filter offers several filter types including 12 dB LP, 12 dB BP, 12 dB Notch, 24 dB LP I, 24 dB LP II, 24 dB BP, 24 dB Notch, and Comb. The filter also includes its own dedicated ADSR envelope. A separate high-pass filter is available after the main filter for additional sound shaping. The amplifier section also includes its own ADSR envelope and features a distortion circuit and volume control.

Additional features include a play mode for setting voice allocation, portamento, unison, pitch bend, and analog drift. An arpeggiator section offers classic patterns with unusual features like sequencer mode and unison/chord control per step. The 8-way modulation matrix allows you to dynamically alter parameters by using both internal modules such as envelopes and LFOs, and external MIDI Controllers such as pitch bend, aftertouch, and other control messages defined in the MIDI-standard. Additionally, there are three effects including chorus, flanger/phaser, and stereo delay/reverb. The bank manager allows for quick navigation and selection of over 750 preset sounds, which are organized into banks and searchable by name or category.

The Rob Papen MasterMagic is a mix enhancer plug-in designed to sit at the end of the main stereo bus plug-in chain for efficient sweetening of your mix's top and bottom range. Ideal for producers, beatmakers, and mixing engineers, its Air section imparts high-frequency sheen while the Mono/Stereo Split Filter focuses the low end via a customizable sum-to-mono process. Both sections feature adjustable frequencies and individual on/off functions.

Master volume, metering, and bypass options are readily available for simple level-matching between pre- and post-processed signals. The integrated preset manager allows efficient auditioning of presets as well as quick A/B comparison. The MasterMagic supports AAX, Audio Units, and VST plug-in formats, and is compatible with Mac and Windows computers.

The electronic download of Predator 2 from Rob Papen is a virtual synthesizer plug-in that combines inspiring presets and first-class features to make it a "go-to" synthesizer for contemporary music production. The user interface has been designed so that almost all controls are visible on screen, making it easy-to-use.

Predator 2 presents an Easy Page for users that don't like too many controls. It offers you important parameters, allowing you to change a sound quickly or use the handy preset variation function. Predator 2 is packed with other features such as: 'Waveform morphing', 'Waveform drawing', "WaveSet playmode', XY pad, new EQ, new Voice Level Distortion, and so much more.

Punch from Rob Papen is a synthesized drums software instrument especially designed for the contemporary producer who wants "body rattling" sounds. Use synthesis and the built-in samples to construct your own unique sounding drum-kit, or load your own custom samples. The sounds can then be crafted using the comprehensive feature set.

Punch has built in sequencers, allowing you to have multiple patterns at your finger tips. These grooves can be triggered in a live environment to build a song, but are also useful for improvising and jamming. Also featured are a growing number of drum-kits built by third party designers and well know DJs.

Punch-BD from Rob Papen is a synthesized bass drum software instrument especially designed for the contemporary producer who wants "speaker busting" sounds. Use synthesis and the built-in samples to construct your own unique sounding kick drum, or load your own custom samples.

There are six pads, each offering either drum synthesis or sample modes. There are four synthesis models with built-in classic electronic bass drum samples and 31 punch samples. The sample mode offers a dual sample slot, each with their own amp/pitch envelopes and filter & filter envelope. There are several stacking modes that offer several ways to play the instrument, including Stack Mode for stacking up to 6 BD pads, Tuned Stack Mode for stacking 6 BD pads that respond to keyboard note playing, and Sequence Stack Mode, which plays up to 6 BD pads in sequential order. Punch BD rounds out its comprehensive feature set with several modulators, a mixer, and a full featured effects section.

RAW from Rob Papen is a two oscillator virtual synthesizer featuring an X/Y field to distort the waveform using phase distortion. The instrument also allows you to draw your own waveforms and use them as LFOs, enabling the creation of unique 'wobble' movements that are perfect for dubstep and other styles of electronic music.

RAW offers all of the Papen filters to further shape your sound. Additionally, the synth features EQ, waveshaper, distortion and lo-fi effects integrated into the synthesis voice level. Other effects include chorus, phaser, flanger, stereo delay and the HQ reverb. An arpeggiator and sequencer allow you to program your own patterns and rhythms.

Designed in collaboration with DJ Free-K and DJ Promo, the Rob Papen RAW-Kick is a kick drum virtual instrument plug-in offering powerful and highly customizable kick drum sounds for beatmakers, electronic musicians, remixers, and producers in a variety of music genres. Utilize up to three kick drum layers, each with a selectable model- or sample-based source, to form your primary tone. Further sculpt and enhance your virtual kicks via adjustable harmonics, distortion, filtering, EQ, and effects.

From the master section, tweak volume, pan, and velocity, apply parallel equalization, and tune the sum-to-mono control, which is ideal for focusing the low end without collapsing the stereo width of the mids and highs. A convenient preset manager allows efficient auditioning of presets, many created by famous producers such as Caine, DJ Mad Dog, Wavolizer, and more. The RAW-Kick supports AAX, Audio Units, and VST plug-in formats, and is compatible with Mac and Windows computers.

The Rob Papen RG Virtual Rhythm Guitar Plug-in Instrument allows you to create custom guitar rhythms, grooves and effects using the plug-in's unique synthesizer and effects features. Easily create classic rhythm guitar sequences, or edgy grooves by simply playing the desired chords on a MIDI keyboard controller. RG features models of the Fender Stratocaster, 8th & 16th note groove type steel string acoustic guitars, and a Power Chord groove type distorted guitar.

RP-Delay from Rob Papen is a delay plug-in that features regular delays, along with FX routings that allow the delay to function beyond typical delays. Six delay lines and eight multi-mode filters can all operate at once in each of several delay modes. In addition to the basic delay models like a simple mono delay and a stereo delay, the plug-in features a tape-sound delay which allows for changing tape length without inducing any clicks.

A sound reverser can reverse the input, while simultaneously reversing one of the delay lines. The reverse sound can also be triggered via an on-screen keyboard, generating totally new sounds, and sending them into the reverser with via dedicated filters and distortion. The delays, filters, and reverser can all be modulated by the built-in modulators. There are four modulation sequencers, four LFO's, and four envelopes, complete with several trigger options.

RP-Distort from Rob Papen is not just a distortion plug-in, but offers more sound processing by allowing combining the distortion section with an analog modeled filter, compressor and widener unit. The order of the units can be changed and also turned on or off.

Controls can be modulated using MIDI sources, or by one of the four LFOs that can sync to the host tempo. Twenty-two distortion types are offered, included a ring modulator and Lo-Fi processor. EQ and a noise-gate are also available inside the distortion section.

The RP-EQ from Rob Papen presents an 8-band virtual EQ plug-in with some additional twists. Aside from the core equalizer unit, the toolbox includes a Mid/Side equalizer mode, and a Mono/Stereo split filter, something frequently used in modern EDM/dance music. An Air section positioned on a master channel allows for boosting high frequencies with a wide bandwidth, while an X/Y Pad adds a dynamic and creative edge to an already very musical equalizer. Multiple presets are included.

The Rob Papen RP-VERB 2 plug-in produces dense and warm reverb sounds using ten reverb algorithms including Hall Clean, Hall Cave, Hall Warm, Room Cold, Room Edged, Room Storm, Vintage Type 1, Vintage Type 2, Space Orbit 1, and Space Orbit 2. It features a Reverser section, which allows you to reverse the reverb sound, sync it to the tempo of your host DAW, and create unique ambiences for vocals, loops, percussions, guitars, and more.

The RP-VERB 2's Mod Matrix enables you to route three controllers such as Envelope Follower, Envelope, LFO, Offset, or MIDI, to three possible parameter destinations. This set up allows you to produce effects ranging from subtle to bold or even use the Envelope Follower module to easily recreate the Phil Collins gated-reverb effect.

The Distortion module offers four types of distortion that let you add bite to your sound before hitting the reverb, ideal for boosting the presence of vocals or drums in your tracks. The plug-in ships with 500 presets to get you started right away.

Also included is the Rob Papen RP-Delay plug-in.

Building upon the success of the original SubBoomBass, the Rob Papen SubBoomBass 2 Virtual Instrument Plugin is a versatile synth bass sequencer plug-in, well suited for video games, film scores, music producers, sound designers, or anyone needing deep sound design capabilities. SubBoomBass 2 updates the graphical user interface for a more comfortable control of all features. The instrument uses analog modeled waveforms and introduces spectrum waveforms for out-of-the-box high-quality samples. Additionally, the sound engine harnesses the power of Karplus-Strong synthesis.

Additional updates include an X/Y screen with recording and playback, an updated pattern mode for running four sequences, and a bank manager with a star feature for quickly finding your favorite sounds straight away. All the original presets are onboard. The SubBoomBass 2 is Windows and Mac compatible and includes a variety of plug in formats such as AU, VST, and AAX.
