The Porta Brace Polar Mitten Camera Case for Sony PXW-Z280 is designed to ensure your camera functions properly in cold weather. It has thick padding made of high-loft insulation material, and it features four air-activated heat packs on the interior, placed by the battery, recorder, lens, and where you keep your hands, in order to protect these parts from temperatures down to -50°F. Additional heat packs can be purchased separately (MFR # PHP-2).
The case also features an insulated lens cap that protects the camera lens in transport and minimizes condensation when you bring the camera indoors from the cold. The case can be used with the camera handheld or tripod-mounted.
