The Istorage Datashur 8GB Secure USB Flash Drive with 256-Bit Encryption protects data with a number of safeguards. In addition to the AES-CBC 256-bit hardware encryption, this drive utilizes randomly generated numbers in concert with programmable user PINs to prevent unauthorized access. Two user roles, an Admin and a User, can be assigned using different PINs, with the Admin capable of resetting the User PIN in case it is forgotten. PINs can be set 7-15 digits in length.  A durable tamper-evident aluminum housing, as well as wear-resistant keys, are intended to alert users to physical compreomises. An auto-lock feature is also present. In the event of a brute force attack, or ten consecutive failed login attempts, the Datashur USB Flash Drive resets and zeroizes all stored data.  The Datashur Secure USB Flash Drive is compatible with all operating systems.
