Opteka VM-2000 Overview

The VM-2000 Gold Series Stereo Video Shotgun Microphone with Shockmount from Opteka is a compact directional microphone with a detachable coiled cable that terminates with a 3.5mm mini-jack connector. Its wide frequency response and stereo audio imagery is designed for DSLR cameras to capture audio for a wide range of video applications.

The back-electret VM-2000 condenser microphone is powered by two AAA batteries (not included) and features a 30 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, -10 dB pad switch, and an integrated shockmount holder with a standard cold shoe mount. The 4.5" length of the microphone makes it easy to mount and remain out of the lens view.
