LanParte a7 Camera Kit

Between the several components included in this system and the varied mounting options they offer, this LanParte FANS Series Cage Kit provides a comprehensive support system for Sony a7 series cameras. The kit features a cage, baseplate, ARRI-standard dovetail plate, top handle, 1/4"-20 accessory mount, and 15mm rods.

The ARRI-standard dovetail plate, which secures to the bottom of the baseplate, allows you to use the system with all ARRI-standard 19mm bridgeplates, including those integrated in shoulder rigs such as the LanParte CSR-01. You'll be able to mount the entire rig onto such a shoulder rig by simply sliding it on.

The cage features a convenient method for attaching/removing your camera. A small, Arca-Swiss-standard quick-release plate first secures to the bottom of the camera and then inserts into a slot on the cage along with the camera. The plate is rubber-padded for non-slip attachment. The cage is designed specifically for a7 series cameras and leaves open access to all ports and controls. It provides 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded accessory mounting holes all around and also has a NATO rail integrated on top for attaching the included top handle or other NATO rail accessories.

The top handle allows you to comfortably carry the system from place to place and it also provides multiple different mounting points. It offers a cold shoe mount on top for attaching microphones or other accessories. It has ARRI-standard accessory mounts (which have safety pinholes) on the top and sides. It has a 15mm rod port for inserting an additional rod and attaching more accessories. And it also has a sideways 15mm rod clamp. The included short 15mm rod and rod-mount accessory adapter with 1/4"-20 screw secure into this rod clamp to support monitors, lights, or other 1/4"-20-mount accessories.

The baseplate offers 15mm LWS rod support, and two 12", 15mm rods are included. Both the baseplate and the dovetail plate provide 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod-mount threaded holes on the bottom. This FANS Series Cage Kit is designed with LanParte's signature black and green color scheme.

The Gear Ring with Pin-Lock Tightening Mechanism for Follow Focus from Lanparte is a rubber gear with a standard pitch of 0.8 and a maximum diameter of 4.1". The pin-lock tightening mechanism secures the gear ring to ensure that the follow focus gear drive has a slip-free grip on the focus ring of your camera lens.

The LanParte UMB-1 Universal Matte Box is a 15mm LWS rod-mount system featuring two filter stages (one fixed/one rotating). It includes one filter holder that supports 4 x 5.65 filters and one rotating filter holder that supports 4 x 4 square filters as well as 109-112mm diameter round filters. The rotating filter holder is adjustable to support different size round filters. The UMB-1 includes a 95mm lens clamp adapter and adjustable top and side flags.

This LanParte FW-50P Battery Dummy enables using longer-lasting V-mount batteries instead of the smaller FW-50P batteries to supply power to Sony a7/NEX-5/5R/5T/5TL/a5100/a5000 and a6000 cameras. The battery dummy fits into the camera's battery slot, and its attached cable connects to the DC-out port on the LanParte V-mount battery plate (plate not included).

The Lanparte Follow Focus V2 clamps onto 15mm LWS rods, allowing you to smoothly and accurately pull focus with cinema and DSLR lenses equipped with gear rings. Its quick release design that lets you easily snap it onto the rods without having to remove other rod-mounted accessories, such as a matte box. Integrated into the follow focus are A and B hard stops, letting you set start/end points on DSLR lenses that have continuously rotating focus rings. Additionally, the follow focus features an ARRI standard accessory port for using optional focus whips and speed cranks. A standard 0.8 pitch gear comes includes, which can be positioned on either side of the gearbox, as well as a removable magnetic marking disc. Also included is an adjustable gear ring for use with DSLR lenses that lack integrated focus gear rings.

Power your camera rig with the LanParte VBP-01 V-Mount Battery Pinch. Featuring multiple power outputs and an integrated HDMI splitter, this unit provides effective power and video signal management. Three barrel jacks provide 12, 7.4, and 5 VDC of power output to different rig components, while a USB output is available for charging your mobile or wireless device. Since this battery can support up to 10 amp loads, larger cameras can also be powered. A D-tap output can provide power to compatible secondary accessories like lights and monitors.
