Gives my EVA-1 a stable 12v so it won't suffer from fluctuating power as the battery's voltage drops. Works flawlessly. The electronics box is a little bulky and doesn't fit into my rig properly. Solved this issue by attaching it to the back of the battery plate (v-mount) w/ velcro.
Its been a few months since I purchased this cable but its been kept in the manufactures packaging. I just went to test it for an up coming shoot that will require larger batteries the the Sony BP-U's. I attached a Gold Mount to the LanParte Gold Mount adaptor with P-Tap an other connections on it as well. And before (thank god) i could plug the other end to the FS5MII, it blew up. Like a gun shot right on the side of my head. Buyer beware.
