I bought this to power a C300 MKI off D-Tap. Not only does this give me a bit more flexibility with building out the camera with peripherals but also it is an effective replacement for the $400 Canon-Brand MKI AC/DC power brick supply which died on me recently. This is one of the cameras that I use for events so it needs to be plugged in for long recordings. I let it run for about an hour and it is still working. I'll consider that a success. Output was measured a bit low (8.06V) but it works for my purposes. The camera powers up and can record and supply phantom power while running off the converter. I'll keep an eye on it for a few weeks but so far it seems to do the job. - 4 stars due to the voltage being slightly off. It's unlikely but it may not work for other more sensitive applications.
Works perfectly with standard d-tap connections. I use this to power a Pro Media Gear slider motor from a Core Edge Power Base.
