Not a fan, but there are way to make it work

It hold the SSD, but loses grip quite often. The cold shoe itself loosens and spins on its own. Luckily, I have a monitor handle with a NATO rail, which squishes the T5 into this clamp and does not allow it to move, thus issue has been solved. The SmallRig and Tilta are better options.

This is designed for the original T5 drives. You may want to try BH #SMBSH2343 instead. This is a more universal option as far as the SSDs it supports. https://bhpho.to/320t94Q

Can this be mounted directly onto the top of a Pocket Cinema 6k camera where the 1/4" threading is?

Yes you will need to remove the cold shoe and get a male-male nut to connect the two
