Impact ME-108P Overview

Able to support large panels weighing up to 14 lb, the ME-108P Monitor Mount Adapter from Impact was designed for maximum flexibility in adjustment. The adapter is ideal for use in conventions, displays, public spaces, or for production teams viewing raw footage.

The adapter's 4.7" plate has standard 75 and 100mm taps for firm, safe, and secure mounting. Both the mounting plate and a 5/8" receiver are attached to opposite ends of a double ball joint to allow them to move freely in any direction. The receiver is compatible with industry-standard light stands or other accessories with a 5/8" stud or pin. Yet another handy feature is a repositionable ratcheting handle that allows the adapter to be securely and completely locked down, even in tight spaces.

Ideal for use in conventions, displays, public places, and with production teams, the adapter will support large panels weighing up to 14 lb.
Ball Joints and Ratcheting Handle
The ball joints are designed to offer maximum choices for accurate positioning, while the ratcheting handle allows adjustment in tight places for secure lockdown.
Standard VESA Compatibility
The Monitor Mount Adapter has 75 and 100mm (3 and 4") VESA taps for firm, safe attachment to the monitor.
5/8" Receiver for Light Stands and Other Accessories
Attached to the ball joints for flexible positioning, the 5/8" industry-standard receiver will fit most stands or accessories with a 5/8" stud or pin.

Too weak for monitors

Great price but unfortunately didn’t suite my specific need. I purchased this for a 22” monitor and it is unfortunately too weak to support it. Even when tightened very hard, there is still give in the tilt even with moderate weight. Nothing in comparison to the Wooden Camera which we use typically. Going to return this. Probably great for other purposes or much smaller monitors like 13” and less - if I were to make a guess.

Mine came with the screws that fit my Samsung Monitor. Plastic handles are fine. Just treat it with reasonable care.

Any chance the 5/8" receiver is threaded? We wish to mount the Monitor Mount Adapter onto a Auray RFMS-580 that has 5/8" threads

No, unfortunately, the Impact ME-108P Monitor Mount Adapter is not threaded. A workaround is using these two products together with the Auray RFMS-580 Reflection Filter Tripod Mic Stand. The Impact Female Threaded 3/8" to Male 5/8" Stud Adapter - 50mm Long and the CAMVATE 3/8"-16 Male to 5/8"-27 Female Mic Stand Thread Adapter. The simple answer is generally yes, most monitors can be mounted on a monitor arm. Monitors come with the standard VESA hole pattern of 75 x 75 mm or 100 x 100 mm on the back of the monitor for attaching to a monitor arm. ~ answer found via google search

The main flat part of the Impact ME-108P Monitor Mount Adapter is constructed with aluminum. Only the pin and the lower portion is steel which would work with magnetic gear.
