I'm with other person's question. Every video I watch of home development shows people mixing chemicals and using them for multiple batches of film...is there a reason this batch mixes up and can ONLY be used once? What's different here than buying bottles of chemicals, mixing and using each one of those for multiple rolls of film?
The Ilford SIMPLICITY Starter Pack is a simple starter set and teh chemicals can only be used once.

This is a single use kit, I would not recommend using this chemistry multiple times.

How long does each chemical last in the packet unopened? How long do they last after they are opened? How long do they last after dilution?
According to the manufacturer, "new sachets can be kept for up to 2 years, once opened they should be used immediately, if opened accidentally and resealed then use within 6 months."
