This SmallRig Sony a7 II/a7R II/a7S II Cage Accessory Kit is assembled to provide you with a cage system for your camera. It includes a camera cage, top handle, and an HDMI cable clamp. The cage features numerous 1/4"-20- and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting points for attaching accessories. NATO rails and a 3/8"-16 ARRI-style accessory port with locating divots increase the accessory mounting capabilities. An integrated Arca-Swiss QR plate opens up the possibility of mounting the cage directly onto a tripod head, while the 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes enable you to mount a camera plate onto the bottom of the cage for tripod mounting.
The included top handle also features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded accessory mounting holes, as well as a cold shoe at the front of the handgrip. Slotted mounting holes enable you to mount the handgrip on a variety of locations on the cage. The HDMI clamp features a single mounting screw that allows you to secure your HDMI cable in the clamp.
The lightweight Camera Cage from SmallRig provides accessory mounting and protection for your Sony a7 II, a7R II, and a7S II mirrorless camera. This formfitting aluminum cage maintains access to the camera's controls and features a variety of mounting options for accessories such as handles, a microphone, a light, and a monitor.
In addition to one built-in cold shoe, multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads, and machined slots for wrist straps, the cage features several ARRI-style accessory mounts for preventing accessories from twisting when mounted on the cage. Also included is an HDMI clamp that helps prevent the HDMI cable from pulling out of its port.
The SmallRig Top Handle with Cold Shoe is made from an aluminum alloy, striking a positive balance between strength and weight. Providing a strong handgrip for carrying your camera in its cage, the top handle's mounting foot features slotted holes that enable mounting onto a variety of cages with 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes. An integrated cold shoe at the top is useful for attaching accessories. Three 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes run up the front of the handle's riser, and the handle itself features a mix of 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes.
