The sternum strap came with my travel backpack. Really well designed metal clips that have held up extremely well over the last 2.5 years. Easy to remove from the backpack straps when you need it out of the way. I use to worry that it might fall off but that’s never happened due to how it grips from the back. My ONLY complaint (as a lefty) is that it’s totally designed for right handed use. I know how stupid this sounds but if you put it on upside down it doesn’t sit right. Wish there was a left handed version with the loop on the other side.

I got a replacement one of these, only because I had a different bag and I wanted a great sternum strap. I knew the peak design one was solid and I just added it to the non peak design bag. It works great. I looked at a lot of other strap options online and this is still the best one I felt to go with.
