[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This IPS monitor is perfect for the home and business environment. We have it paired as a 2nd screen to the VG2456 Docking Station Monitor. USB-C is the way to go....

For the Price Yearning for Better Picture

Casual/Business User   Enjoy the overall design of the display but still more fit for an office than a home, the OSD is one of the best I have ever seen: you can spend hours tinkering away. Alas, the screen quality reminds me more of a VA panel than IPS, but the QHD resolution is a compromise.  My unit did include a USB-C cable which works with my MacBook 12, Dell XPS 7590 & Mac mini M1. Perhaps using different cables will improve the image quality? 4 stars

USB-C a bit tricky

I thought I found an affordable USB-C monitor but it's not that simple. Since there was no USB-C cable included, I called B&H support, and after 15 minutes of discussion they suggested buying an Apple Thunderbolt cable to use with my MacBook Air. The cable did not work. I then called ViewSonic help, and they said that sometimes the Thunderbolt USB-C cable won't work, so suggested a plain USB-C cable from Best Buy. I returned the Apple cable to B&H and ordered a USB-C cable ...so I am hoping it will work. The Monitor itself seems fine, but I picked it for the benefit of being able to charge my laptop along with conenct video and audio.

I needed an office monitor to work from home because of the Corona pandemic and after doing research I found this viewsonic office monitor. It has all the features I required, slim bezel and type c connection for my laptop, and the price is just right!

I shoot D3 football. I would like a monitor that is bigger than my MacBook Pro 13" (2015) but no larger than 24". I want to be able to transport it with relative ease to stadium press box type venues and be able to post process photos at halftime and immediately after a contest. Would this be a good option? Color accuracy (without having to calibrate screen) is important. Ease of transportation, set-up and take down also important.

You would get much better results from a factory calibrated monitor that is designed for color accuracy and photo work like the Eizo https://bhpho.to/2kCj6k0.
