Photoflex Fabric Grid Overview

Control the spread and output of your light with the Photoflex Nylon Fabric Grid for the Medium Softbox (24 x 32"). This grid limits the light spread from your softbox to 40°. It fastens to the recessed front of the softbox via touch fasteners.

Grids are essential accessories for any lighting system. A grid alters the shape and intensity of the light output from your softbox when it is mounted on a light head. Consider a grid as a painter would a brush, or a sculptor would a knife, or chisel.

I bought this for the Photoflex Large SilverDome nxt (34 x 45 x 24.5) that I just purchased. This is what was recommended. This grid sags really bad. The edges are nice and thick but the grid itself is thin nylon. When at angle it sags so bad that it cuts off light on bottom of soft box. It is fine when using straight up and down. Hope this makes sense. It was cheap.

I use this for my large Photoflex softbox, it has the hook part of the hook and loop and fits just fine. If you move the defuser in just a bit you will have plenty of space to add the grid to the softbox. It does add more wait to the end of the softbox but it works well and stays in place.
