These are According To Sennheiser these are supposed to be the replacement for the Sennheiser HD 8's so the Shennheiser HD300 Protect are a lot more comfortable then the older replacement version I also have the Sennheiser HD 300 Pro's but for the life of me I can't tell the difference between the 2, the pro tect version is louder with the protect button turned off these are great Headphones for Studio Monitoring whatever you choose you will blown away with the sound reproduction of these can's I listen to a lot of dance disco music and I must say I love them both.

What is the size of the opening of the ear cups? I wear behind the ear hearing aids and wondering if these will fit over them. I'll be using these for VO work.
