Hawke Sport Optics 41211 overview

  • 1Description

The Hawke Optics 6x21 Endurance 1000 Laser Rangefinder gives you the critical edge to take that long-range shot with the confidence that your first shot will hit where you want it to.

The powerful eye-safe infrared (IR) laser can range out to 1100 yards with an accuracy of ±1 yard. Integrated into the ranging system is an inclinometer that measures the relative angle between you and your target and displays an adjusted range distance for you to more accurately estimate your ballistic drop compensation (BDC) and improve your shot accuracy. For purists, a traditional line of sight option is available that provides the actual linear distance without compensating for the angle. If the weather takes a turn, you can activate the Rain mode and a special algorithm filters out the interference from the raindrops so you can know you're ranging to your target without a false reading. A fourth Hunt mode ignores the interference from brush or tall grass if your game is walking through grass or woodlands. You also have the option of showing readings in yards or meters, with an auto-off function.

The simple red OLED illuminated display is easy to read in all light conditions without interfering with the view while a simple two-button interface makes navigating the system functions and options quick. A collar around the eyepiece brings the view into sharp focus, with a long eye relief that won't cause eye strain. Designed to withstand inclement weather, the housing is rated to IPX5 to keep driving rain and snow out of the electronics, with a broad operating temperature range and a slip-resistant grip. The compact form factor is ergonomically designed to be used one-handed, and with a weight of just 5 ounces, it can be carried in a pack or pocket all day without any trouble at all.

Rangefinder
  • Eye-safe, CE-certified, infrared laser
  • Display distances in yards or meters
  • Metering range from 5-1100 yards (1000m)
  • ±1 yard/meter accuracy
  • Integrated inclinometer measures the relative angle from user to target up to 90°
  • Multiple selectable metering modes; choose based on conditions or personal preference
Metering Modes
  • Standard: Conventional straight line-of-sight distance ranging, with spot and continuous ranging options
  • Horizontal Distance: Displays an adjusted distance taking the upward or downward angle from the inclinometer into account
  • Angle: Displays the angle relative to target
  • Rain: Uses a special algorithm to filter out the 'noise' from rain drops to improve metering accuracy—target must be more than 33 yards (30m) away
  • Hunt: Measures the straight line distance to the target ignoring interference from long grass or brush—ideal for measuring the distance to a deer that is walking through long grass or woodlands
Optical Performance
  • Monocular design
  • 6x power magnifies the view to ensure proper identification and reticle-target alignment
  • 21mm objective keeps the form-factor small to easily fit in the hand and allowing it to be operated with one hand
  • Compact BK7 roof prisms provide the room required for the optics and rangefinder to fit in the easy-to-hold hosuing
  • Anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics ensures bright and clear views with accurate color rendition
  • Generous 420-foot field of view at 1000 yards makes it easy to scan wide areas for game without having to move very much
  • Long 18mm eye relief reduces eyestrain
  • 3.5mm exit pupil
Use and Handling
  • Dioptric adjustment ring enables the display to be focused
  • Simple 2-button interface can be used with either hand
  • In-view red OLED display shows reticle, battery power, metering mode, and other important information at a glance
  • Auto-shutoff helps to conserve battery life
  • Runs on one included CR2 battery
