It functions as a compact cheese plate and offers two mounting slots and multiple 1/4"-20 mounting threads. Two 1/4"-20 screws are included for securing your devices and accessories.

I purchased two of these and on both copies all the 1/4 holes do not go all the way through. You will need short screws when installing from the top. To flip the plate I had to drill out the bottom of the holes to use and it worked fine, just rethreaded with a screw. The slots are as they appear. The 1/4 holes not as pictured. Great plate if the holes suit you.
