Polsen ESM-2 Overview

The ESM-2-35H Dual-Sided Earset Microphone for Sennheiser Transmitters from Polsen is a low-profile, lightweight earset microphone that is designed to deliver accurate and natural-sounding speech and vocals. The miniature 3mm microphone is optimized for speech and is mounted on a flexible, adjustable boom for precise mic placement. The dual earclips easily conform to your ears and hold the mic in place for active applications such as fitness, mobile journalism, house of worship, and more.

The microphone's omnidirectional polar pattern is designed to pick up speech clearly from all directions, so if you turn your head, there is no loss of volume. Additionally, for theatrical and live presentations, this earset's low profile won't obstruct a user's face, distract an audience, or cast an unwanted shadow. Built with a cable that terminates to a 3.5mm TRS locking connector, it is compatible with Sennheiser wireless bodypack transmitters.

The ESM-2-35H features a 3.5mm TRS locking connector for compatibility with Sennheiser wireless transmitters. The 45" cable is long enough that it won't restrict your movements while speaking or performing.
For Speech and Vocals
The earset microphone is optimized for capturing clear, natural-speech and vocals. When recording in a large venue with a large audience, the omnidirectional polar pattern allows you to be heard loud and clear.
Omnidirectional Polar Pattern
The omnidirectional polar pattern is designed to pick up your voice if the microphone is in front of you or off axis. It ensures a low sensitivity to vocal pops or plosives and sounds natural and accurate even if the mic is very close to your mouth. It doesn't sound deep or boomy.
Compact and Lightweight
There isn't anything like the freedom of speaking when there's nothing distracting or bothering you. The ESM-2-35H is so light and slim that you might not know you're wearing it. Securely attached with dual earclips, you'll never have to worry about mic placement.

It's just great, don't be fooled by the price

Compare this mic with any $100 mic and you won't be able to tell the difference; unless you have a very good set up and are very good listener, in which case, you will probably chose the Polsen instead of the other. Get up to $300 and maybe, just maybe, you will chose the more expensive one this time. I'm not kidding, forget about the price: buy the the mic, give a try without being biased and enjoy using a very good microphone.

Great sound for budget price

Sounds good, similar to much more expensive headsets and easy to EQ. Very much worth it, especially for those who might put this to hard use (children, theater, etc.) and need to purchase replacements regularly. Only complaint is that the headband is not adjustable and does not fit people with heads larger than ~7.5 hat size.

Yes it is. I just tested it for you my Rodelink kit with and it works very well. While the Rodelink TX takes a locking screw connector for a secure connection that won't pull out it does not require it for good quality audio.

As far as we are aware, the TS connector from the Polsen ESM-2-MN Dual-Sided Earset Microphone for Recorders and Wireless Transmitters will work with most transmitters without issue.
