Comfortably carry two cameras or binoculars, keeping them secure and quickly accessible in the black Extra Long Dual Harness Uni-Loop Version from Op/Tech USA. The Harness is made in the USA and capable of holding select lens pouches or accessories. The U-shaped neoprene neck pad evenly distributes the weight of your gear while reducing shock. An adjustable back section allows you to fit the harness comfortably, and the removable sternum strap controls the width of the harness, to evenly balance gear at the sides and eliminate interference between two cameras.
The Dual Harness is easy to attach and fully adjustable with Op/Tech system connectors. One connector on each side stays firmly in place while the second one quickly glides along the strap to bring the camera to your preferred shooting position. The interchangeable design lets you convert from a dual to a single sling system, or quickly move a camera to another strap in your collection. Your camera remains stable, secure, and in an upright position while you are viewing and grasping. No stress is put on the camera, lens, or shoe-mount flash units. A tripod mount is available to use for brackets and other adapters.

Are the connectors (uni-loop) on this harness ...
Are the connectors (uni-loop) on this harness better than the 3/8" cord version? I have a Canon 6D and thinking of getting a 7D body. Wondering if there is some advantage to these?
Both versions of the Dual Harness are a comfortable and versatile way to carry two cameras or binoculars. They each have a recommended load of up to 15 lbs. per side.
The Dual Harness™ - 3/8" incorporates the 3/8" webbing connectors that are compatible with many other OP/TECH USA neck straps. As a result, you can quickly change from one system to another. This version also enables you to carry two cameras on the sides or only one camera on either side or one in the middle. It’s very versatile and easy to configure. The two connectors that are attached to your camera can be connected to each other to form a small hand strap if needed.
The Dual Harness™ - Uni-Loop includes the popular Uni-Loop connectors for those photographers wanting a short connector on their camera. This connector makes it possible to move your gear to other OP/TECH USA slings, wrist straps and harnesses with Uni Loop Connectors in just a few seconds.

has anyone tried to use this to carry a tripod ...
has anyone tried to use this to carry a tripod and camera and if so did it work well?
Yes, we have used it with a camera on one side and the tripod on the other side. It worked pretty well, you still have a bunch of stuff hanging on you but it's okay.

I would want to use it with a camera and binoculars. Does that work as well as two cameras?
Yes, the Dual Harness will work equally well with either two cameras or a camera & binocular combination.

question
Will this item come with everything I need to just take it out of the box and attach my two cameras? If yes and I only want to use one camera, can I attach a bag to the other side? If I require other pieces please recommend. Thanks!
Yes, it comes with everything you need to attach two (or only one if you choose) cameras. The harness works very well and is more comfortable than a neck strap. Attaching a bag would depend on the type of connectors that are on the bag. If they are like those on a camera, it would work.

question
This harness is great when I want to carry two cameras, but not when I only want to carry one. Is there an accessory strap for when I only want to carry one camera? I would love a wrist strap or any strap for that matter that attaches to the straps on my camera. I hate having to attach and remove the straps from the camera.
I solved this problem by purchasing the following three OP/TECH USA items:-System Connctors, Uni Adapter Loop (B&H# OPSCUAL Mfr# 1301012)-Classic Strap (B&H# OPSCB Mfr# 1001252)-System Connectors (Uni Loop) (B&H# OPSCUNL Mfr# 1301062)I supplemented the security of the system by the use of two sets of OP/TECH USA's System Connctors, Secure-Its (B&H# OPSCSI Mfr# 1301042)With these items, you install the Uni Loops on each of the cameras once. Then you can switch between single strap or double harness just by using the quick-connects. The Secure-Its ensure that the quick-connects don't become quick disconnects!I hope this helps.

question
Interested to know if anyone has used the Black Rapid dual harness and this one from OP/TECH, how do they compare?I've been using the Black Rapid harness for a few years now but it drives me a bit crazy how boh cameras just swing around like a pendulum! Wondering if the OP/TECH is a bit more stable.Cheers.
I have not used the black rapid but the dual harness worked well. Set the straps a little short so the cameras easily come to eye level. If you are very active a hand on camera keeps motion down. I recommend this harness
