Protect those expensive legs! I use spikes when at the beach so the water still comes in at the bottom but protects the adjustment points.

Very handy if you are in muddy spots. Hope they will last.

I am planning some photo shoots at the ocean and prefer to be cautious with sand in the tripod legs. I have also used these in muddy locations. I pull the covers up the tripod leg and secure it with elastic bands.

I do a lot of shooting at the beach and sometimes get caught off-guard by an incoming wave. The result is hours worth of tearing down the tripod - cleaning out sand, drying and re-assembling the tripod. I have an Op/Tech raincoat for my camera - now I have them for my tripod legs. They work great! Now, if I only had a raincoat for me....

If you live anywhere there is weather you can use these.

Remember when your mother use to cry out, It's raining...don't forget to put on your rubbers, boots, galoshes! Well, you are in charge of your feet and, as a photographer, your tripod's feet. If you do not, then you are the one who will have to scrape off the mud and wipe of the water. Save that chore from your list with OP/TECH USA Clear Tripod Sleeves. And, oh, you may also be saving you camera gear from a collision with muddy water.

Very cool!!
