I tested with with 7 other M.2 2280 ssds and it came in 7th place. It is not the fastest in my test setup, but it seems solid and the biggest difference was in the writes not the more important reads. The reads were strong. My test environment is a bit different. I had ssds from PNY, WD, Samsung, and OWC in the testing. Samsung good though at reporting the TBW and other data about the ssd itself, where some of the others we not as good. Furthermore, some would slow down to a crawl especially on writes, but this ssd did not. It is fine in my environment, but not the best price point relative to performance. I hope this helps someone.

Cannot decide between Samsung 970 EVO Plus and Crucial 250GB P2 NVMe PCIe M.2 Internal SSD to upgrade HP 14-df0023cl laptop.
Specs show that Samsung (5.0 W (Active) and 8.0 W (Active) draw more power than Crusial ( 150.00 mW (Active) and 2500.00 mW (Max). I am afraid the battery will be discharged faster with Samsung. Any recommendations ?
my oldest samsung NVMe is from 2019 my oldest Samsung SSD is from 2016 its been 3.5 years NVMe and almost 7 years on the SSD they have taken a pounding in constant adding, deleting, editing files neither one of them has come close to drops in speed or performance after testing. from a real world experience samsung SSD drives are very dependable
