I recorded a short 4k film using the Blackmagic Ursa mini, in log. I was worried that this devise was not going to transfer all that data to my external drive but it did the job nicely.

Useful tool to have on hand

I plugged this into my MacAir and it is very handy for plugging in other accessories. Seems to work well.

what is the transfer rate for the SD card ?

what is the transfer rate for the SD card ?
Asked by: Jose
The SD card reader does not have a specified speed. If speed is a concern the important variable will be that the SD card itself is capable of higher speeds. As well we would recommend a dedicated high speed card reader as well rather than a hub.

Will this unit support an Apple SuperDrive in any of its ports?
Asked by: M. Scott
Before I purchased it anyway, I was able to confirm from the manufacturer that it in fact does not support the drive. Now that I have it and have tested it, I can confirm that it does not support. You receive a message that the drive needs power to operate. You'd think Apple would include connectivity with their pro laptop but that's another thread.
