This coupler requires the DMW-AC10 AC Adapter for use. We are not aware of it being able to work with any V-Mount Battery Plate.

Does this power the S1h as well when used with the batter charger that came with the camera?
We recommend you to use the ones that are written in the owner's manual, which in this case are the AC adapter, model DVLV1001Z and the Battery Charger, model DMW-BTC14.

The Panasonic DMW-DCC16 DC Coupler is compatible with the Panasonic Lumix DC-S1.
But you need another part for the DCC16 DC coupler.
