I tried the K&F from a famous online retailer. So stiff and tight I thought I'd pull the lens apart at the focusing or aperture rings. Returned it. Tried the Velo - same deal. Returned it. Kipon - buttery smooth on and off at both the body and lens ends. Way more cash but worth it for peace of mind - no risk of damage to my beloved glass. This is the one, a perfect 10.
