Dismounting Adapter from Lens

The adapter was better quality than expected and it easily mounted on the camera (Olympus M4/3) and Pentax lens. The combo was removed from the camera easily enough, however when I tried to remove the adapter from the lens the adapter release button would not depress. now the two are locked together and everything I've tried to seperate them has not worked. Perhaps these adapters are a hit or miss proposition. I missed with mine so I wouldn't recommend the adapter to anyone.
