The Shape BP-U65 Dual Charger with Two Lithium-Ion Batteries set is designed to provide all you need to power Sony PMW or PXW series cameras that accept Sony BP-U-type batteries. This set includes a 16.8V charger and two 14.8V, 5200mAh batteries.
The 100-240V dual charger features two BP-U65 battery plates and an LCD display which shows battery charging status. The charger provides 1.5A when a single battery is in the charger, and provides 1A to each battery when both are charging simultaneously. The charger has a pre-charging feature which helps to extend your battery's life. The charger also features a USB output which provides a 5V, 2100mA charge to a smartphone or small device while the charger is plugged into an AC source.
The batteries feature a D-Tap output which can be used to charge video accessories or a camera and to charge the battery, and a 5V USB port is provided for charging smartphones or on-set mobile devices. Battery capacity can be quickly checked via the 4-segment LED meter. Their box-like design can be easily stacked for storage, or packed away in a case for transport. The batteries have no memory effect and are fully decoded so they can be fully charged with accurate power metering.
A wall AC cable is included with the charger.
The SHAPE BP-U Dual LCD Charger supports most Sony and third-party BP-U series batteries, such as the BP-U30, BP-U60, and BP-U90 models. It's capable of charging two batteries simultaneously, and it also features a 5V, 2.1A USB output for charging smartphones and other USB devices when it's plugged into a wall outlet. (This charger isn't designed "chipped" and may not support some batteries that have a "chipped" design.)
Supporting 100 to 240V, 50/60 Hz power input, the charger can be used worldwide with the right plug adapter, sold separately. In high current charging mode, it delivers 1.5A of power when charging only one battery, or 0.8A for two. In low current mode, it provides 1A for one battery or 0.5A for two. The LCD screen displays a percentage of each battery's power level at all times.
