While this teleconverter does work with Canon DSLRs with an APS-C sensor, it would only work with Canon EF mount lenses that have a minimum focal length of 70mm.

Is it compatible with Canon 90D and EF 70-300 IS II USM?
Not so much an answer as a follow-up question. I think of aperture as large and small rather than fast and slow. And even this is confusing as High f-stop equals small aperture, less light. Therefore you explanation is confusing. Also the lens in question has an F4-F5.6 minimal setting (or maximum size) depending on zoom relationship. So as you can see, not sure how to interpret this answer regarding this lens. Could you adjust you answer and explain differently why autofocus will not on this lens? Thank-you
