This Lens Mount Adapter from Viltrox is designed to allow a Canon EF or EF-S-mount lens to be used with a Canon EF-M mount camera with full electronic communication. Needed an adapter for my M50 to be compatible with the 55-250mm lens. It was easy to use out of the box and worked flawlessly.

Great product as a short term fix. Worked great at first. Eventually the screws loosened and needed to be tightened very regularly. Once the screws were lost it was impossible to find replacement screws.

I use this to attach a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L II and a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM to a Canon M6 Mark ii, and so far the results have been outstanding. Also it's a much more economic alternative to the much more expensive Canon adapter.

I was so excited to get my adapter!! When my uncle passed away he left me his old canon cameras and lenses and now I can use them on my mirrorless eos m50 camera.. The shots I have taken are excellent with the adapter!! Thank you so much.

Focus tracking, servo, all functions work great. Detachable foot takes QR plate and stress off the body. Looking fwd to a shoot with the little old Canon 50 ff/1.8.

Yes, the Viltrox EF-EOS M Lens Mount Adapter for Canon EF or EF-S-Mount Lens to Canon EF-M-Mount Camera will work with the Canon EOS M50 Mark II Mirrorless Camera (B&H # CAEM502B), though using the Sigma Zoom Normal-Telephoto 55-200mm f/4-5.6 DC Autofocus Lens for Canon Digital EOS (B&H # SI5520045CAF) may cause the edges of the image to vignette.

Yes it is, but highly recommended to leave on if using a Heavy Lens on EOS-M50 and tripod. I would attach tripod to this point for better stability.
