Produce high-strength parts that retain their stability in harsh environments with the LulzBot HS Hardened Steel Tool Head.
With a hardened steel nozzle and extruder hobb, this extruder head is capable of printing high-strength composite polymers with PEEK tensile strength (15,200 psi). The nozzle has a 0.8 mm diameter and a heater block that has the ability to perform in higher operating temperatures up to 248°F (120°C). The extruder has extrusion rates of up to approximately 181 grams per hour. Your 3D prints can have a layer resolution of 400-600 microns. The extruder supports several materials, such as carbon fiber-filled nylon, ABS, PETG, PLA, and NinjaFlex TPU. It is recommended that you use 2.85 mm (3 mm) filament.
This extruder head is fully compatible with the LulzBot Mini 2 3D printer. You can also use the extruder head with the LulzBot Mini 1 and TAZ 5 or 6 3D printers with the Mini 1 and TAZ 5/6 Universal Tool Head Adapters, respectively.
