The Versa Series 3 Tripod Video Bowl is a standard 75mm bowl from Really Right Stuff, made out of aluminum and designed weather and corrosion resistant. It allows mounting of 3rd-party tripod heads or leveling bases on RSS Versa tripods.

Works well, easy to install, machined to RRS’s usual excellent quality. I do have concerns about how RRS attaches the bowls to the tripod - 3 screws pressing into the apex with a friction mount doesn’t seem the most secure, but I suppose it works as it has given me zero trouble.
I got tired of balancing a gimbal and expensive telephoto on a cheap levelling base, so I finally got this (for my mk1 TVC-34L). RRS's half ball adapter puts me off because it lacks an anti-rotation screw, but a third-party adapter saved me. This bowl was easy to fit and, by RRS standards, affordable. It seems to work fine, allowing smooth adjustment and a lower working height. It's one lump of metal that's the right shape, so it's hard to see how it could be wrong. I does make a very loud noise if it falls off a desk before you fit it, though.
