Viltrox VL-500T Overview

Brighten your subjects with this slim VL-500T Round Bicolor LED Light with LCD Display from Viltrox. This soft, bicolor LED light features a high CRI of 95 for accurate color rendering, an adjustable 3300 to 5600K color temperature, 20 to 100% dimming, and a maximum brightness of 2000 lumens.

The VL-500T features a built-in L-series battery plate and can also be powered by a separately available AC adapter. The light can last for about one hour on full brightness when using an NP-750 battery. On the back, the bright easy-to-read LCD screen displays the status of your battery, brightness percentage, and color temperature. Included with the light is an adjustable shoe adapter that allows you to mount the light on a camera shoe mount.

I've had the smaller Viltrox LED lights for some time and love them, this one is just more of the same, which is great. I used this when I'm traveling mostly, but often finding that I use them over my bigger kits in general for many situations. A nice round and soft source for key is great. I usually add an extra layer for diffusion, but even stock, it's pretty nifyt.

Do the extra battery NPF-770 very heavy that it makes these off balanced?

This light is compatible with NP-F770 batteries as well as the NP-F750 batteries (same weight and size) that Viltrox recommends, and as such it should balance just fine.
