This Carson MP-250 microscope is well-built, compact and easy to use. The optics are good quality and the overall design makes it easy to carry in the field. I don't really understand the need or use for the UV light, but the LED light works very well to illuminate the subjects.

This is a great item for looking at the tiny details of things. It's not intended to have the magnification of a lab or medical scope, but for casual inspection by the curious, it works extremely well.
