Dedicated to the Ricoh WG-6 digital camera, the O-CC173 Protector Jacket is a custom silicone cover that offers protection against bumps and scratches to the camera. The silicone material also offers an improved, more secure grip when handling and also retains access to all camera controls.

This silicone armor shell preserves the ability to operate all the controls whilst protecting the camera from getting ding and scratch damage when it's being exposed to harsh conditions. It also covers the access door, preventing inadvertent triggering of the door latch. It covers the tripod mount, however, so you can't mount the camera with the shell on it.
I am still learning the camera controls. The jacket, while protective does not allow ready visualization of the print logos on the controls. If it were fully transparent I would use it now. I think that it will be useful when I become more facile with the details of the controls. I bought the camera and jacket for use floating & fishing, and expect that both to be useful for the intended purpose.
