The SuperCopier IT Portable Drive Duplicator with 2 x NVMe & 2 x SATA Ports from MediaClone is a drive duplication unit that clones NVMe SSD and SATA drives, USB 3.1 Gen 1 & 2 storage devices, and Thunderbolt 3.0 devices. The unit performs at a very high transfer rate in a secure Linux environment, and is operated via a user-friendly touchscreen application. It sports a portable form factor, with two SATA power/data combo ports, two NVMe power/data combo ports, six USB 3.1 ports, and one eSATA port. The included Thunderbolt 3 expansion box provides four additional eSATA interfaces.
Mirror Mode
This mode offers 100% bit-by-bit drive imaging. It works with any operating system and any file system, using a HASH verification mechanism that includes a HASH target drive and compares to the source drive for 100% verification of transferred data. The user can also image a portion of the drive by adjusting the percentage of the bit-by-bit mirror imaging.
Quick Copy
Drives can also be duplicated in Quick Copy mode. The application supports duplication of the files system only, from many source drives using FAT, NTFS, exFAT, HFS+, or Linux EXT2-4 file system to many target drives. Also, the application can automatically perform the following functions:
- Partition scanning on the source drives
- Partition scaling on the target drives
- Copy encrypted partition and unrecognized partition
- Scaling (options include scale all partitions, selectively scale partitions, disable scaling, and scale down partition)
VHD Copy
This mode supports copying from source drives containing VHD files.
Selective Capture
This mode supports selective capture of files and folders.
Deploy Drive
The application supports duplication of data from one source drive to many target drives, or from many source drives to many target drives.
Erase Operations
The application supports independent channel/port erase operations using erase protocols such as DoD, Security Erase, and Enhanced Security Erase.
Quick/Full Drive Format
The application supports quick formatting for NTFS, exFAT, FAT32, HFS+, and EXT4 file systems.
Drive Diagnostics
The user can run drive diagnostics on target drives. Supported diagnostics include S.M.A.R.T and Read-Verify tests, which report the location and number of bad sectors and weak media.
