Ricoh TS-2 Reviews
Better than nothing
It's a nice case, but the bottom is OPEN... If you carry it in your bag, small dirt particles get inside on the soft material coating and you cant get them out easily. If it was a sealed case it would be perfect. I keep mine in a zip lock bag due to this opening. Wish they may something better.
Just what you need to protect your investment.
great product at a good price
It does what I need it to do, protect my investment. The price was right
I questioned if i should spend $30 on this case because it comes with the neoprene slip on case. This is going to be rolling around in my camera bag so i wanted more protection. Another advantage is the bottom is open so you can plug in and charge your Z1 with a battery.
I feel that this case is way overpriced (for what it is), but it does the job, and it's far more convenient and protective that the neoprene sleeve that the Z1 comes with.
Great build, soft inner lining (unlike the TL-2), but doesnt zip all all the way. Im assuming that was intending for charging, but you could have just chose not to fully zip it.
Mixed feelings about the gap at the bottom
I love this case! I am super paranoid about my gear especially this $1000 camera with the huge lenses with no cover unless you buy the little plastic one. I am glad that this case can still go in my pocket so that I can stick that thing right back in its home without taking any unnecessary risks the second I'm done with it. The only thing I don't love is that i wish I had an option for the zipper or another cover to go over the bottom portion. I like the accessibility of the gap but I also would like to be able to close it all the way. Minor complaint really for something so indispensible. If you have or are thinking of owning a Theta Z1, GET A CASE.
Not really protection when there's a big hole in the bottom
The bottom of the case is completely OPEN!! How is that a protective case? If I put it in a bag anything could damage the bottom of the camera. Serious design flaw! Are people now too lazy to remove it from the extension? On top of that - it's lightweight, as in not very protective. I returned mine and do NOT recommend.
