Gets stuck. Sometimes just would not trigger, other times keeps triggering until pressed again. Dreadful thing.

Get it.

I really like this style radio commander vs the previous generation models. It connects via Bluetooth and presents only the functionality you need.

This wireless remote works great with my Sony camera. We will use this a lot for large family photos as well as traveling and wanting to get more than a selfie with background in the photos.

Poor Quality

After 5 or 6 uses in the field, the AF button sticks and will not function. Sporadic Bluetooth communication with Sony Camera. Totally unreliable. Piece of crap.

Not What I Expected from Sony

In someone else's hands this remote might be the best thing ever. In my hands its useless. It does turn on but it won't pair with my Sony a7R3A. I worked on it for over an hour will no success. If anybody wants it just let me know.

Can I control several cameras at once? I.e start and stop video recording.
Asked by: Brian
No, you cannot. The Sony RMT-P1BT Wireless Remote Commander, B&H # SORMTP1BT, can only be paired to one camera at a time via Bluetooth. To use the remote with a new camera, it would have to be un-paired from the first camera, so it cannot control multiple cameras simultaneously.

What battery does it use and is it replaceable? Why do I get a message saying this item cannot be shipped to my country as 'There are currently no shipping methods available to that location due to carrier regulations regarding products containing lithium batteries'?
Asked by: Cyril
This would use a lithium coin cell battery, this battery is replaceable. But do to that, it is unable to be shipped outside of the US. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I just got this today. I have one question to the staff: Does this device turns off or is it on all the time?
Asked by: Johnny
The remote will turn off on its own, but it is recommended to keep the lock switch engaged when storing it to prevent it from turning on by accident.
