Very good control, worked even remotely up to 20'. Just remember this remote cannot work in conjunction with the SONY remote grip as the camera can take only one Bluetooth connection at a time however both can work on just the picture button but one will take precedence over the other

This thing just works flawlessly. Does exactly what you need and for product photography and astral where you might normally have to set a delay to avoid camera shake, no more, just pop out the commander and snap away!

Can I control several cameras at once? I.e start and stop video recording.

No, you cannot. The Sony RMT-P1BT Wireless Remote Commander, B&H # SORMTP1BT, can only be paired to one camera at a time via Bluetooth. To use the remote with a new camera, it would have to be un-paired from the first camera, so it cannot control multiple cameras simultaneously.

What battery does it use and is it replaceable? Why do I get a message saying this item cannot be shipped to my country as 'There are currently no shipping methods available to that location due to carrier regulations regarding products containing lithium batteries'?

This would use a lithium coin cell battery, this battery is replaceable. But do to that, it is unable to be shipped outside of the US. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
