Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...... A click-less mouse. Well, if you are in an absolutely silent room, you can hear a quiet, dampened sort of muffled noise. But there is none of that annoying, high pitched, (hideous?) clicking sound so familiar to most computer work stations. And if there is anything going on at all in the room: conversation, tv, radio, etc., you effectively don't hear a thing.
