This CNC-machined aluminum bracket features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes, as well as large pass-through slots for cabling. Use it to mount to a camera, dovetail mounts, tripod plates, accessories, and more. The bracket comes with two 1/4"-20 low-profile screws and two 3/8"-16 low-profile screws.

This vertical camera bracket is an absolute tank. It can hold my fully loaded FX6 without batting an eye. Be aware that your tripod head will need to accommodate for the extra weight. I added a quick release to it for shoots when I need to jump between 16:9 and 9:16.

I guess vertical video is our life now?

Great camera bracket. Solid build and large enough for big camera packages. I fought buying one for so long out of principle but here we are. 9x16 is our life now, I guess?

what's the weight limit?

With the Vertical Camera Bracket, the weight limit is very much dependent on your tripod and not the bracket itself. As long as you have a secure connection to your tripod and the weight is within the range you will be fine.

Would this work to get a 90 degree angle straight ...

Would this work to get a 90 degree angle straight down for an overhead shot? Would it be safe to mount the camera straight down on the outside of it?

This bracket is strong enough to hold your camera in any direction (it is made of solid CNC Machined Aluminum). We recommend using a safety cable whenever mounting equipment in an overhead position above people.

Is this compatible with Manfrotto plates/tripod heads?

The Wooden Camera Vertical Camera Bracket is a Universal solution. If could be used with any head or plate that you want to work with or attach to it. The bracket has Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 Threads that you could work with.
