Standard as mic stand. Provided clip is garbage

For the money this is hard to beat. Solid base good height adjustment. Everything you want, nothing you don't. And for under $30 you can't go wrong. The supplied mic clip is poo poo though. The spring clip design doesn't hold well at the best of times and the springs are prone to self ejecting never to be found again. But fortunately most mics you buy come with their own clips so this can get stuffed in the spares box, or donated, or conspicuously consumed and chucked in the bin where it belongs. The only redeeming factor of the mic clip is the threads on it are surprisingly metal so if you have a clip base with plastic threads you can swap that over in most cases. The adjustments are easy and quick to do and it feels solid at every height. Which as a 6'+ girlie is a must. Ultimately for a basic weighted base mic stand at a great price this delivered on all fronts. Perfectly pleased.

I had to replace my mic stand because my other one (not Pyle Pro) broke off at the base right where the threads ended. The new Pyle Pro has wider base and weighs more than the old. However, it has 6 small rubber cups on the feet nubs that are not glued on. On a sticky floor (think barrooms) one of them came off when I lifted the stand making it rocky after that. Fortunately I caught it and retrieved the missing cup. I glued all 6 cups on with 3M Marine 5200. It only takes a little dab and they will NEVER come off again. The additional diameter and weight of the base makes it a little less likely to tip. I gave it a 4 only because of the rubber cups

Not really built for that type of microphone. But if you have a mic suspension holder it will fit.
