Made of chrome-plated steel throughout, including the bracing, the stand employs a direct drive gear mechanism and auto-locking instead of pulleys and cables. Each riser has an oversized T-handle for maximum torque when locking down, while dual handles on the bottom facilitate folding down the weighty support.
